The Soylent Greening of America
If you have never seen the movie "Soylent Green" you should make an effort to do so. Here is a Wikipedia description of the movie:
Soylent Green is a 1973 dystopian science fiction movie depicting a future in which global warming and overpopulation lead to depleted resources on Earth. This in turn leads to widespread unemployment and poverty. Real fruit, vegetables, and meat are rare, commodities are expensive, and much of the population survives on processed food rations, including "soylent green" wafers.
The catch is - people discover that Soylent Green is made of PEOPLE!
In the film, Thorn's assistant Roth "serves as the reminder of better times." The aged researcher, a former professor, tells Thorn about the past, when "'real' food was plentiful and the natural environment thrived." Real food is a symbol of the past; as a result, when Thorn investigates the murder of Simonson, a Soylent board of directors member, Thorn takes "lettuce, tomatoes, apples, celery, onions, and even beef" from the wealthy man's luxury apartment. These rare and expensive luxuries were out of reach for all but the most powerful members of the society. When Thorn shows Roth the red filet of beef, Roth weeps at his realization of how much society has lost due to pollution and overpopulation. Now that most humans subsist on processed ration wafers, when Roth sees the "real" food, he asks “How did we come to this?”[2]
After Sol discovers that Soylent wafers are made from human flesh, and decides to end the horror by signing up for government-assisted euthanasia, Sol is shown a montage of beautiful natural images in the euthanasia chamber: flowers, deer, mountains, and rivers. When Thorn rushes to the euthanasia clinic to try to stop Sol, he is too late to save his friend, but he is able to share Sol's final moments. In Sol's last minutes alive, "Thorn shares Sol’s nostalgic moment" as Sol asks “Can you see it?” and “Isn’t it beautiful?”, which helps Thorn to realize "what he and the rest of the world has lost."[2]
This is not a fate which is outlandish. This fate is just around the corner. The "Soylent Greening" is not going to be from pollution or over-population - it will be from the elites subjugating people to live in poverty - the ultimate final class war with the elites saving themselves and spitting on the rest of humanity.
I'm not saying any government is going to start producing little green Soylent Green wafers from people. But the masses of humanity will essentially be consumed and sacrificed metaphorically to benefit the elite ruling global class that will operate hand in hand with the UN, the World Bank and other globalist empires.
You can see this in action by the willingness of this government to allow the flood of illegal aliens into the US. You can see it in their lack of willingness to stop welfare moms from pushing out baby after baby for the taxpayer to support. The Soylent Green is the middle class taxpayers who are being chewed up and spit out and USED.
Their goal is to elevate themselves to be above the peons and protect their lifestyle at all costs. Their goal is to reduce the middle class and those who are the kind who might question their leaders in favor of populating the US with millions of uneducated working class peons.
Soon they will have no need for us uppity educated middle class people because we will have lost our value as consumers (globalism) and even as taxpayers - because the less troublesome working class will make up for the loss of middle class taxpayers in the form of cheap labor to help the globalists compete in the global market. We are being subjected to the LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR global economy. Why pay people what they are worth so that they can live a middle class lifestyle if you can replace them with lower class people who are happy to live on $2 a day for wages?
The only things left to us now are that they have not yet taken our firearms and an armed population is less likely to become subjugated to dictatorship. This is why we must FIGHT for the preservation of the Second Amendment because it is the only thing that stands between a total steamrolling of the middle class and preserving our freedoms and happiness as our founding fathers intended.
